History
nGen-ko Minerals is a Chilean company privately owned and managed by experienced mining professionals, geologists and resources investors, who have been involved in successful mining companies from exploration and inorganic growth (M&A) to mine development. nGen-ko has acted as a consolidator of the mining properties belonging to two local private owners in one of the world’s prime mining jurisdictions.

Since 2019, nGen-ko has completed three mining property consolidations deals completing a total of 26,000 hectares of mineral properties. This total was subsequently reduced as nGen-ko refined exploration targets. Subsequently, as part of its objective to initiate exploration activities, nGen-ko sold some projects in exchange for cash or equity in the buyer, and a royalty interest on future production from the properties sold. One of the projects have been optioned in exchange for investment commitments, cash payments, and (if the option is exercised and the project sold) a royalty interest on future production from the project. Elsewhere, the company is pursuing more traditional option and joint-venture agreements, with nGen-ko retaining a participating interest once earn-in by the optioning partner has been achieved, with the additionally possibility of nGen-ko converting its participating interest into a royalty interest. .

nGen-ko Minerals is a resource exploration company involved in the exploration of gold, copper and silver on its various properties located in Chile. The Company owns or holds title under to 59 mineral claims totaling 19,256 hectares. These claims make up three properties. The main project is Stingray. The Company maintains title to two other properties, Palitos and Calder but was not pursuing any activity on these properties as of December 31, 2019. Stingray is an early-stage exploration project of 4,200 hectares in 21 mineral claims covering a Cu-Mo porphyry system in the Andean Cordillera of Region I, northern Chile.

Ed is a mining executive with 20 years of experience working in operational, financial and executive leadership roles in some of the world’s tier one Copper mining companies. Prior to joining nGen-ko, Ed served in executive positions at Mitsui & Co. Minerals Resource Development Latin America, where he represented Mitsui’s Shareholder rights in Collahuasi, Pelambres and Anglo American Sur. He joined Mitsui in 2009 as a management team member that grew the company Copper stake by the search an acquisition of new Mining Projects (M&A) generating new oportunities being the JV with Codelco for the acquisition of Anglo American Sur in 2011. Prior to Mitsui, Ed worked at BHP Billiton in Corporate Finance, Projects, Supply and Business Development and Operations. Ed started his career in mining operations in the Copper industry as a production engineer in La Disputada de Las Condes Copper Mines owned by Exxon Minerals.
He holds a BSc Eng in Mining from the Catholic University of Chile, a MSc of the University of Chile and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management in England.

Pablo is a skilled geologist with more than 15 years of global experience in both the private sector and in consultancy services. He has a broad background in estimating and auditing resources and reserves, multi-disciplinary due diligence and technical studies. Prior to joining nGen-ko, Pablo was a Senior Consultant at SRK Consulting, working globally on a wide range of operating mines, development and exploration projects, across predominantly base and precious metals.
Pablo holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geology and a Master of Science in Mining Geology from the University of Chile.

German is a lawyer with a broad range of experience in many areas of corporate law, which have included banking and asset finance, mergers and acquisitions, funds, corporate governance, incorporated segregated accounts and various other corporate transactional matters. Prior to joining nGen-ko, German experience includes advising on wide range corporate issues, reviewing, analysing, drafting contracts, in particular related to subsoil use operations in Chile.
Prior to joining nGen-ko, German was an Associate in a Chilean law firm and in-house lawyer in one mining company in Chile.

nGen ko Minerals is a project generator company focused on discovery and development of metallic mineral deposits in two jurisdictions with outstanding potential: the north of Chile and South of Peru. The company’s main emphasis has been on silver/gold and copper/moly focusing on porphyry and high grade vein style deposits.
nGen-ko Minerals currently has 3 active exploration projects: two copper properties in Tarapaca Region and one silver project just in the border between Tarapaca and Antofagasta Regions.
